Are your products certified gluten-free ?
All of our bakes are made with natural gluten-free ingredients, but produced in a home kitchen that is not certified gluten-free. Cross-contact is possible—please consider your comfort level.
Are you dairy-free?
Yes—our core menu is dairy-free and baked with extra-virgin olive oil
Are you plant-based or vegan?
We’re not fully plant-based, since our recipes use organic, pasture-raised, Vital Farms® eggs. These eggs come from cage-free hens raised on pasture, reflecting our commitment to quality and humane sourcing.
Do you use organic ingredients?
Our bakes are crafted with mostly organic, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. As a home bakery we’re not certified organic, but our focus is on whole-food quality and mindful sourcing. You’ll always find a full ingredient list on each product descriptions.
Do you use refined sugar?
We skip refined sugar. Our recipes combine unrefined sugars—like coconut and maple—with the natural sweetness of whole fruits like bananas, apples, and pumpkin. This not only lowers the need for added sugar, but also adds flavor, fiber, and nutrients.
Why olive oil? Will it taste “olive-y”?
We bake with Italian extra-virgin olive oil because it brings more than flavor—it adds nourishment, antioxidants, tenderness, and natural moisture to every bite. The flavor is well-rounded, never harsh, and it blends gently with chocolate, nuts, and spices, creating a taste that feels both comforting and wholesome.
What allergens should I know about?
Many of our recipes include tree nuts (almond, pecan, chestnut), peanuts (in our Pup Cookies), and egg. Nuts are part of our Italian baking heritage and bring wholesome fats and nutrients, and part of our Italian baking heritage
